Since 2006, the soft skills training program offered by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation for Health and Education,has helped nurses develop skills for effective patient management and enhanced service orientation. Interpersonal skills, empathetic communication, counseling skills, time management, stress management and rapport building are some of the topics covered in the module. The program sensitizes participants about the true goals of nursing, and the importance of the jobs they perform.
Nursing head training program – leadership and people management skills for nursing supervisors

These coaches create a conducive environment for improvement of their own teams undergoing the soft skills program. The Nursing Head training program focuses on aspects such as people management, observation skills, motivation, team management and delegation. Additionally in select locations, it tracks improvement on behavior and work related parameters both before and after the soft skills program.
Soft skills program for pharmacists
The pharmacist can play a major role in patient care by educating patients,explaining details such as dosage and importance of adhering to the prescription as well as lifestyle advice. The soft skills program for pharmacists was instituted in 2009 to work with pharmacists in improving healthcare delivery. The program builds self-confidence and empathy in participants and focuses on improving their skills in effective prescription dispensing and communication.
